Traditional cache located in the Hemlock Salvage forest off Center Hill Road {RT 181} in Barkhamsted. Very muddy DEP snowmobile trails on State Land used by many hunters during the season. Cache is about a tenth of a mile from parking.
A short walk from parking, this cache is also the first stage for the "Hemlock Forest Waterfall" {...a gorgeous area that makes this spot pale in comparison, about 6 tenths of a mile from here on the same trails} so dont forget to grab the coords for it, theyre on the lid. You're looking for a cylinder-shaped, camoed lock n lock with the usual treasures inside. Hunting is very popular in this area, so please bring bright colors for yourself and your pets! No bushwacking required, but the trail gets muddy at times, so dont forget your boots. Cache includes the FTF prize.. the "Le Frog" TB.
