The town of Mooinooi was initially developed for the accommodation of families of miners working for the platinum and chrome mines of the area – more specifically Lonmin Platinum and Samancor Chrome. Nowadays it is busy little town in its own right with a number of people living there that commute daily to Rustenburg and Brits.
It boasts the only 9-hole golf course in the world that hosts a PGA Tournament – the annual Platinum Classic.
The cache is a small nano-cache. Please bring your own pen and you will need something to remove the logbook from the container as well.
