Den Gamle Ente
Træskæg, som vi kalder vrangbøgen på billedet, er ligesom
J.R.R.Tolkiens ente af samme navn en træhyrde. Og han har samme
motto: "Hastværk er lastværk". Han passer på skovens små og store
træer og sørger for at de ikke gror vilde. Ved hans fødder
fandt vi hans yngste hold lærlinge, der havde fået huer på i det
kølige vejr.
Cachen ligger ikke på de angivne koordinater - det gør Træskæg.
Med ham som udgangspunkt findes cachen ved at følge en lille
skovsti mod NV. Følg stien ca. 144 hobbitskridt med stendiget på
venstre hånd. Til venstre ses nu en "portal" med et bøgetræ på hver
side. Cachen ligger under træet til venstre.
The Old Ent
Treebeard, that we call the beech tree in the photo, is just
like the Ent Fangorn in J.R.R.Tolkiens universe: He's a tree herd.
And he has the same motto: "Don't be hasty." He guards the trees of
Hareskov forest, as well as shepherding them and he makes sure that
they don't grow "wild". At Treebeards feet we found a batch of
young apprentices. They had caps on in the chilly weather.
Please note that the coordinates corresponds to Treebeards
position. The cache is placed at an other spot. For you to locate
the cache, you must use Treebeard as starting point and find a path
bearing north west. Follow the narrow footpath 144 hobbit steps
with the stone dyke at your left hand side. On your left you will
find a "portal" with a big tree on each side. The cache is hidden
under the tree to the left.
