The coordinates listed are for the check-in point at the Wolf Creek Environmental Center. This event will be held from 6:30 - 9 p.m. on Saturday, February 23, 2008. Registration begins no earlier than 6 p.m.
Join us at the beautiful Wolf Creek Environmental Center for another great winter geocaching event! Go frolicking in the snow to find six caches that will be hidden at varying distances from the check in location. Along the way you will gather items needed to create your own “snowman”. Come back to the check-in point to enjoy some hot chocolate, cookies, a nice warm fire and to construct your whimsical snowman!
Event Details and Rules:
·Participants must supply their own GPS units
·Participants must supply their own flashlight (required for activity)
·Check-in will be at the above listed location
·Children must be accompanied by an adult
·This is not a pet friendly location
·Please come prepared for the weather and snow covered and/or muddy trails
·You are invited to bring a dozen or so cookies to share; we will provide the hot chocolate
·There is no need for trade items
·Participants must supply their own creativity
·We will have a bug drop station
·Reservations are not necessary
·There is no fee for this event
