Geocache Description:

Located in the Elsey National Park near the magnificent Mataranka thermal hot springs. This cache is located about 1 km from the homestead.

As this area sometimes floods during the wet season, the cache (ammo tin) has been place in an elevated position so that only a 100 year flood (which happens more frequently than that) would affect it. Hopefully CHEDENT will keep an eye on this one for me WHEN or IF he finds it.

Take the walk to Stevie's Hole with the cache being found only 15 metres or so off a nearby service road.

Take the time to look around and have a swim (especially in the dry season).

Remember "You'll never never know (where the cache is), if you never never go (a caching)!
