HEIGHTS FALCONS

This was part of a class project for a physical education class. Each student was introduced to the GPS unit, taught how to enter waypoints, and find their way around campus. Students then participated in a scavanger hunt and walked about 3.5 miles finding all the answers to 12 questions. The third part of the unit was for groups of three students to build a cache that met all requirements for real caches. They placed them all over campus and then taught the JROTC class how to geocache. For the last step in the unit, each groups was given a specific task in setting out this cache for all to come find. The log book asks that you put down the high school you graduated from. We will use this part as a geography lesson as well. Thanks for your participation in the education of our future. There are several tradeable items in the cache that are all Heights related: tshirt, car tag, button, fundraising card, pin, baller band...
I would suggest finding this cache sometime other than at the start or end of school or at lunch hour. Busy - busy - busy traffic at that time.
