If starting at the top, the degree of terrain is much easier. It is nearby to the Sunset cache, as well as a few others in the area.
The cache was inspired by a few other caches up in this area. We so enjoyed the beauty of the scenery in the winter. The cache is a large, camouflaged, peanut butter jar with a new travel bug in it for the first to find. Starting at the trailhead to the T.N.T. is much easier than parking in Hixon Forest parking lot and walking up...your choice, though.
