Geocache Description:

Pottinger Peak 砵甸乍山
Altitude : approx 312m

Old Big container had gone, this is a small Lock & Lock now (Aug 27, 2011).

At the top of Pottinger, there is an WWII AOP (Artillery Observation Post) (visit link)

Cache beside its range finder pit, pls watch you step in case overgrown

Access from the east is much easier, even kids can overcome.
Access from the west is a bit rough, intent for experienced hiker with suitable shoes only.

To access (shortest way by public transportation)
- Take public minibus (green van) 18M (visit link) from Chai Wan MTR station , it will bring you to the start point of Pottinger Peak Country Trail (inform driver your stop before), it is approx 150m height, and less than 1km from the cache,

or take bus route no. 9 (visit link) from Shaukeiwan MTR station to Cape Collinson stop , it is also approx 150m height, but around 2km away from the cache.
