Geocache Description:


This cache speaks for itself, and it's a good thing since I don't want to get started on the silly urban renewal trend that spawned this example of "big art". It stands now--away from its original location--as a "symbol" of bad ideas past.

This is dedicated to a fine Chicago-area geocacher whose log entries are always thoughtful and insightful, and who has several "big art" hides himself.

You're looking for a green waterproof match holder. It is not on the sculpture itself, so there's no need to poke around at it or even look at it if you don't want to. Have fun!
