The C.S.F.
(Cache
Scratch Fever) series
evolved from one of those unforgettable caching experiences
where the primary question afterwards is "What was I
thinking??" Trying to be first to finish a series
of caches, my sons and I attacked the last cache,
GC13J4N, before the final just after dark. While we
eventually found it, we also managed to wade through a steep
hillside full of gigantic blackberry bushes for over an hour,
sustaining multiple lacerations and rips to clothing and mental
wellness.
What were we thinking? Well,
we obviously weren't in our right minds, having caught that most
debilitating and mind-altering of diseases -
Cache Scratch Fever.
As a tribute to that night, each cache in the series will
entail the potential for - yes, you guessed it -
scratches.
Oh, and my apologies to Ted
Nugent.
Shouldn't catch a fever on this
one unless you're really careless. Cache is a small Glad
container appropriately painted. Parking is within about 40
ft. No need to cross any fences. Coordinates are
accurate within 3 feet. Please place back as good or better
than you found it so that others can have the same
experience.
