A point of minor historical interest.
I drive by this spot frequently but never took notice of this item before. It bears registration from the State of California dating from the 1960's and possibly earlier. In examining this site I found two old soda bottles in the grass. They date from the earlier days of deposit bottles and the earliest no deposit type. The Cache is well-camoed but experienced Cachers will recognize it right away.
It has come to my attention that the property owner at the laundromat does not want people parking in their lot. This raises the difficulty a bit as you'll need to get creative in how and where you park. The shoulder is narrow at the Cache site. Be very careful of fast traffic as you walk or cross the highway.
