Cache is a small lock-n-lock container that was decorated, loaded, donated, and won at a CSRA Geocacher's meeting.
Take Contest, better known as "TC" to those who loved him, is a beautiful 20 year old Saddlebred who has won many shows and championships in his home state of Pennsylvania, as well as all over the Northeast, in both English and Western disciplines.
When his owner, my best friend Ruth, moved down here to Georgia with her family a few years ago, there was no way she was going to leave her boy behind. When he arrived here, he had no idea what to think. He'd been a show horse all his life and spent most of his time in a barn stall. Here he actually got the chance to be a "real" horse. We had a ball watching him stand on as well as eat grass, become part of a small herd with pasture buddies, and to not have to stare at 4 stall walls. He actually seemed to calm down and enjoy the change. I got the chance to ride him a few of times and found out what it was like to actually ride a Cadillac!!
Unfortunately, not too long ago, this mischievous boy with one blue eye went on to play in greener pastures. I'm sure he's winning every show he enters and making TC's Mom very proud!!
This cache has been placed in honor of TC and all horse lovers. It has been placed at an establishment frequented by horse owners, horse lovers, and those who love horse lovers. Needless to say, there are many muggles about so please be careful!! The owner graciously allowed the placement of this cache, so if you have time, please visit his fine establishment and check out all of his horse-related merchandise.
Included in the cache is a small horse key chain with FTF marked on it. It also contains a horse TB, a World Diabetes Geocoin, a mini deck of cards, mini flashlight, pack of Topps baseball cards, stickers, and a log book, pen and pencils.
