Tettenhall railway station
was a station on the Wombourne Branch Line. It was opened by the Great Western Railway in 1925, Tettenhall lost its passenger services in 1932 but survived for goods traffic until 1965 when the last train passed over the line on 24th of June.

Car parking is available within feet of the cache but only between dawn and dusk; please don’t cause obstruction or nuisance to the locals if coming out of these hours.
Activated on Christmas day to give local cachers the opportunity to go for a nice after dinner walk - the old railway line goes for miles - why not walk down to Compton and return via the Staffs & Worc canal.
