Geocache Description:

The coordinates above are for the starting area of High Ridge Letterbox in Laurel MD. In order to find this letterbox hybrid you must read the instructions below. Please do not take the stamp or pad, leave in the cache.

A letterbox hybrid in a new Laurel park. There is a lack of Letterbox/Hybrids in the immediate area so this one was created. A compass is required to find this cache. Final is a ammo box with a stamp and ink pad for your use. Please do not take the stamp.

When I was making the stamp, I made it backwards. No need to worry, it will still work. In order to find the cache, you need to follow the following instructions:

1. Go to the posted coordinates.
2. Shoot a bearing with your compass 253 degrees true for an unknown distance. Remember the difference between magnetic and true
3. Look at the photo on this page. That is where the cache is hidden.
4. Sign log book is required and stamping your logbook is optional.

Please do not post your distance to the cache. I would defeat the purpose to do the projections at home and go and find the cache. Distance to the cache is not that far. If you cross under I 95, you went to far. If there are people playing tennis, you may have to come back. There are other caches in the park.
