Geocache Description:

A lookout at the top of the access road has a plaque with information on the history of the area.
Drive or walk to the bottom of the hill and then the upriver end of the parking lot.
A short walk across the flat grass field and the reason for the cache will become clear.

Once under the trees the cache general location should be reasonably obvious.
No bush bashing is required, but a bit of fancy footwork may help.

Due to deterioration of the original cache location, we have changed the cache to a micro.

Look at the "lay of the land" around the parking areas.
At the opposite end of the domain from the cache is more remains of the early strucures.

A popular family area with swimming, barbeque areas and toilets.
Contents:Logbook,pencil,sharpener.
