Geocache Description:

You'll need a vehicle with a laser "radar" detector device for this virtual cache.

Whenever driving on north I-680, my radar detector sounds the alert that it has detected a laser speed detection device in this area. This always happens in the same places along a particular stretch of road. What is it? Is this some sort of communications beam? Intrusion detection? Traffic monitoring? Black OPS mind control? Aliens? :)

I have averaged the coordinates for both the northbound and southbound lanes for one spot where this is known to happen. This also happens frequently when getting off the exit to Cunningham Lake.

Please note that this phenomenon may be unique to my brand of detector, or possibly even unique to my individual unit.

Don't try to walk or "bushwhack" to this location. Also, don't stop along the freeway. These coordinates are to get you in the general area where I have observed this odd alarm with my detector.

Please report your findings on the log here at this web site.
