Close to the Curacao Seaquarium/Lions Dive Hotel. Beautiful trail thru the desert.
Park or start at the first big round-a-bout in front of Lions Dive Hotel/Seaquarium. The single track trail starts behind Eric's ATV Adventures 12.05.198N by 068.63.787W. Make sure you start on the single track trail and not the dirt road behind the wall, there are 2 trails, you want the one with the painted yellow stones at the entrance, it's behind the 4-wheel rental place. Continue hiking till you reach the first trail to the left and head up the hill the cordinates are 12.05.096N by 068.53.615W. The cache is named after the World Cup Mountain bike race held here in 2006 on these trails built by yours truly! Cache is located near a scenic overview of the World Cup course. Find the tall cactus located along side the trail and you will be very close. This is the closest cache I have placed to where you can park, it's only around 1/4 of a mile. Great view of the surrounding area and the ocean, birds, lizards and iguanas are everywhere! Cache is inside a clear container with a blue lid. Good luck!
