In the shadow of the historic White House lies a small cache. There is no need to come in to the property to find this cache. It is accessible from the sidewalk, a few steps off it to be more exact.
This small cache is a sistema container that has a small logbook and enough room for very small cache items. You will need a pen or pencil to log.
It is placed so you do not need to come in to the property (up the driveway). It can be accessed via the sidewalk.
This cache is actually located on my property. Feel free to say hello if you see someone.
Historical information can be found by checking the web site mentioned on the business cards in the cache. Briefly however here is a little about, the White House;
Built in 1893 by William H. White, a carpenter and lumberman, the house is an outstanding example of Queen Anne and Eastlake architectural styles with intricate fretwork, a turret and omate bargeboards. Placed on the State Register of Historic Places in 1977, it stands in an area of Olympia once known as Swantown.
