Geocache Description:

There is no cache container at the coords listed above.

Billy Martin was a well known Yankees second baseman (even a World Series MVP!) and later Yankees general manager. Locals know that he lived and frequented local establishments in the area. The coords listed below are the entrance to Billy's former driveway and last residence. He died there on Christmas day 1989 when his truck hit a culvert at that location.

To find the cache container, you will need to find the missing digits in these coords:

N 42 12.XXX W 075 50.YYY

XXX can be located by finding out what month and day that Billy Martin's uniform number (#1) was retired by the Yankees in 1986. You can find this date by going to Monument Park in Yankee stadium or by the ever popular google method.

YYY can be located by driving by N42 12.418 W075 46.424
and noting the three digit number at that location. You do not need to stop. (You can also locate this number if you are very clever at googling Billy Martin.)

The cache container is an ammo can. There is a FTF prize.

Now, play ball!!
