Geocache Description:


Ong's Hat is still on the maps, even without a town. There are several stories as to how the town got it's name.
One version is, Ong used to be a ladies man and at a dance, he didn't give one of the women his undivided attention, so she took his hat and stamped on it. Another version, after drinking too much liquor, Mr. Ong threw his hat in a tree (center of town) where it stayed for many months and the spot became known as Ong's Hat
