Geocache Description:

Mt Lowry is located in the East Harbour Regional Park Between Wainuiomata and Eastbourne.

Named after Mt Lowry Challenge one of Wellington's premier mountain runs. Leaving from Days Bay, Eastbourne, it is a run or walk that challenges different levels of fitness. The route winds up through Eastbourne and along the bush-lined tracks in East Harbour Regional Park. Rising from sea level to 350 metres, this challenge gives some wonderful views of Wellington Harbour. There are multiple entry points to the park and Mt Lowry Closest entry point would be Lees Grove Track which the sign says 45mins but can be less,You can carry on along the Ridge Track to and from Beech View Cache from here as well. GZ is just off the Rata Ridge Track. Cache is a 2L Black Sistema Container hidden aprox 2 meters from track.
