Geocache Description:


Take Gurley Street West onto the Thumb Butte Loop. At some point you’re on the Thumb Butte Loop trek, you’ll note the GPS is pointing more or less directly off the road to the East. Since there is no parking available on the road here,we recommend that you DO NOT try to climb the steep hill at this point. Drive to the nearest parking area, at the next bend in the road. There’s a trail leading to the NE. It’s about a 0.25 mile hike back into the general area. Follow your GPS to the cache. There are a number of places to picnic and the view towards California with Skull Valley in the foreground (on a clear day you see INTO CA) is absolutely fantastic. PLEASE do not put any edibles (dog or people) in the cache – our AZ critters can find any of them! Container is a 50 cal ammo can........

Be sure to tryGC35BKD.... A must for every cacher who caches in the Prescott area.
