Geocache Description:

This is a straight forward 2-stage multi-cache. The initial coordinates place you in front of a horse barn at Tanglewood park. Observe the barn and answer a few questions and soon you'll be on a short walk to the cache location. On the way you can observe the locations of a number of equestrian activities available at Tanglewood (At least you will be able to see them in the winter - I don't know what the leaf cover will do.

The cache container and contents used for this cache were received from my Secret Geocoin Santa this year. I wanted to get it out fairly quickly and thought this location would be good for a cache.

Stage 1

Count the number of stalls along the side of the building. Include the stall that is used for housing tack, don't include any rooms that are not designed for holding horses. Answer = AB.

Count the number of lightning rods along the top of the roof and subtract 1. Answer = C

Add the number ABC to both the North and West coordinates for Stage 1. Proceed to Stage 2

Stage 2

The final is a quart sized lock and lock container hidden in a fairly standard manner.

The cache is located in Tanglewood Park which has a $2 / car entry fee. There are several caches in the park so you can make a day of caching etc. here if you'd like.

Note (4/7/12): Upon checking, the cache seems to have drifted a bit from its original location. I updated the coordinates for the initial. They are a bit further back from the barn, but on the correct side so I think all should be good. Have at it!
