Geocache Description:

A Poem of Clues

If you exit Valdez by boat or by plane
Wildlife and scenery will keep your brain sane.

In Anderson Bay where the Gas terminal might be
Right now there is little but peace and serenity.

For some, exploring the Sound is a natural proclivity
But Geocaching gets others engaged in that activity.

For example, a geocache in Port Valdez
Resides under a couple of tall twin spruce trees.

You get to the beach & climb a small bluff,
About 30 feet up, it’s not all that tuff.

Like so many trees ‘round Prince William Sound
The twin’s roots are exposed, nooks and crannies abound.

Your attention may be captured by a Stellars Jay
But you should focus at tree roots with your back to Shoup Bay.

In a mossy dark cavern, a red-topped peanut butter jar
Holds riches & goodies, both fun & bizarre,

Once you find it your heart will be filled with elation
But the true treasure lies in Anderson Bay's location.
