This one is located at the Big Springs Library which used to be the former Farmer's State Bank, now located across the street to the south. This building holds the infamous distinction of being the place where Duane Earl Pope killed several bank employees and paralyzed for life the bank president. (More info for this event is given on other area caches by yours truly.)
Across the street to the east is the historically famous Phelps Hotel. Again more info is available from other of the cache descriptions.
Just as a small warning. People around Big Springs can be a little 'territorial' to say the least. Although I am a 'displaced' local, I still am occasionally asked what I am up to. So have a good answer ready if you...
Not many places to hide, so should be a good one for the seasoned cacher. Have Fun..
