A small cache in south Richland.
This cache is located in one of the few areas of BLM land remaining within the city of Richland. The area is surrounded by developments and, hopefully, it will remain public land. Lots of trails and dirt roads to walk and hike on.
The cache is located to the north of a marsh with a surprising amount of wildlife. Ducks are always hanging out there and while we put the cache out, a hawk on top of a large sagebrush scolded us from a hundred feet away.
Closest parking is at the end of the pavement on the north side of the intersection of Keene and Shockley. If you have 4WD, you can drive in on the dirt roads from that point and get within a few hundred feet of the cache.
The cache is a small camo'd cylinder. Please replace the cache exactly as you find it.
