Geocache Description:

Located just off highway 257(west). Lots of lava boulders. Altitude 4703'.

Container is a avacado tupperware bowl. It is under a small overhang with a rock on the lid. When placed it had a belt buckle, a wildcat cartridge(17 Ackley Hornet) and a Discovering Millard county guide with the page turned to a likeness comparison. Make sure and take some time to wander around the lava boulders on the west side and look at the petroglyphs. There are some that I like better than the ones in the fenced area.

N 39 14.290
W 112 45.312
Elev. 4615

If you take the dog be sure and let'em cool off in the river channel just off the NW corner of the formation.
