Geocache Description:


This cache is located in Garland Ranch Regional Park.

There are several routes to reach this cache. The best bet is to grab a trail map at the visitors center as it will really simplify your search. From the visitors center you will have a bit of an uphill hike (although relatively easy compared to the rest of this park!)

Once you locate the general area, you will find a great bench with stellar views of Carmel Valley.

If you are caching with children, please note the 3 star terrain rating on this cache. Although most of this hike is fine for children, the final 15 feet of the trek to the cache involves climbing down a steep rocky hill. If you have children with you, please make sure an adult stays with the children at the bench while you make the final grab of the cache.

Once you have the cache in hand, relax on the roomy bench and sort through the loot! The original contents of the cache contains numerous goodies for cachers of all ages.
