have taken responsibility for. Personally I would like to thank
Ms_Behaving for her creativity in placing caches. Her worked sealed
our involvement in Geocaching. Thank you for the lessons learned.
You imagination will be missed. Good luck in your new

Riverside Cemetery, the final resting place of many of Seguin's
early settlers and Confederate heroes. The south side of the
cemetery, facing the river, is marked with a lime-crete stone wall,
erected in the mid 19th century as one of the town's pioneer
defenses. Take some time and look around. Many of our Texas heroes
are laid to rest here. Only a few feet from the cache is a survivor
of the Mier Expedition where 157 Texas prisoners were taken to
Mexico and forced to draw a bean from a clay jar. A white bean
meant you lived, A black bean meant death. A lottery of death by
General Santa Anna. Survivors were then forced into hard labor
where many died later. The outrage of this episode spurred on many
other fighters for Texas Independence.
