Geocache Description:

Located off the 0.7 mile long, primative hiking trail of the Crystal River State Buffer Preserve's Churchhouse Hammock Trail (across from the Crystal River Mall).

This kid friendly cache is located just off the primative hiking trail at the Churchhouse Hammock Trail of the Crystal River State Buffer Preserve. Parking is located west of U.S. 19 across from the Crystal River Mall. The Preserve is open from 8:00 a.m. to sunset each day. The trail is 0.7 miles long and takes you through a mixed upland forest into a hydric hammock so make sure you bring the bug spray. Terrain is flat with some roots and limerock protruding from the ground. It can get muddy if it has recently rained. You are looking for a camouflaged ammo box. As far as contents go, the name of the cache is a not-so-subtle hint as to what you may find.
