Geocache Description:

The cache is located in the little known village of Gedding, south of the A14 between Bury St Edmunds and Stowmarket in an area with few caches at present.

This is essentially a quick cache and dash, but can be made into a short circular walk if the footpath is followed beyond the cache location. The village is mentioned in the Doomsday Book and to the North East of the Church, which is Norman in parts (more info is available at (visit link) is a very impressive moated manor house which can be seen in the distance from the churchyard. Access to the cache location could be slippery.

Easy parking is available at N 52 11.166 E 000 51.261.

The cache container is a standard metal ammo box with cache labels. At placement it contained:

teddy brooch; owl keyring; padlock and keys; colouring pencils; bell cookie cutter; flying disc keyring; Christmas DVD; and a red teddy, plus the usual notebook, pen, pencil and sharpener.
