This is multi-stage cache which involves a walk around Market Weston Fen collecting information for the final cache coordinates. Terrain is typical fenland with slight dips and rises and muddy areas at times. The fen is a SSSI so please respect the area. All the information you will need to collect is in clear view and accessible from the existing paths/trails. Due to the SSSI status of the fen the final cache is hidden on a nearby public footpath rather than on the fen itself.
The coordinates given above are for the suggested parking which is on the grass verge AFTER the last of the cottages on the lane. There is room for just a few cars.
Dogs allowed if well behaved and kept on a lead whilst on the fen.
Once parked up enter the fen at N52 22.377 E000 54.700.
Now the fen begins - Head to each of the following Waypoints in turn to collect the specified information.
Waypoint 5 went missing, so the info to collect has been modified. The cache's location has not changed but the container was replaced with a new box and log book etc. 26/10/08.
Waypoint 1 (N52 22.350 E000 54.720):
A = Second from last digit of the "TL" number on the water level indicator.
B = How many Insectivorous plants grow here?
Waypoint 2 (N52 22.254 E000 54.857):
C = What number is at the top of the water level indicator?
Waypoint 3 (N52 22.202 E000 54.802):
D = How many strange metal tubes with padlocks can you see?
Waypoint 4 (N52 22.184 E000 54.702):
E = How many amphibians (excluding spawn) are depicted?
G = B+D-4
H = C-4
I = 4-E
J = E-D
You now have all the information you need. When you're ready head out of the fen at N52 22.377 E000 54.700 via N52 22.266 E000 54.790.

The cache is a small plastic clip tub and is located along a public footpath which starts at N52 22.440 E000 54.908.
