Geocache Description:

Welcome to the first "Family Expeditions" Geocache!

This exciting first Family Expeditions Cache will take families off trail in one of the DuPage County Forest Preseves. You'll travel into a woodland wildflower restoration area, planted with many different native wildflowers, so watch out! Return to this site often during the spring to see a great succession of trilliums, sunflowers, and other native species. We hope you enjoy finding this cache and keep your eyes open for future Family Expedition Caches.

This cache is placed on DuPage County Forest Preserve property with permission.
Do not place the following items in the Geocache: Food items, inappropriate, offensive, or hazardous materials.
DuPage County Forest Preserve hours are 1 hour after sunrise until 1 hour after sunset. For safety, do not be in the preserve after hours.
