Swing your partner, doe-cee-doe, now promenade.....
I use to dread it when we were made to learn square dancing in PE in high school, but now looking back at it it was some of the hardest laughing moments in PE. It got most of the guys over there fear of not having rhythm.
Across the street from the cache location you will see the home of the "Swinging Rebels" and Rebel Hall. They are one of our local senior square dancing groups that I have seen at various festivals around the area. They open up the hall to locals to come and join them on certain nights.
Its a part of our history and our heritage that I'm proud to say I can still remember a few steps of. I can swing my partner for a few rounds, but after that I should just sit down and watch...lol....Enjoy the Cache.
