KiwiGary. Its a great spot that we both hope you enjoy
visiting.

You can get to the cache from two directions, so you choose
which way fits in best with your day. The trail heads are
S 36° 47.608 E 174° 29.034 and
S 36° 47.604 E 174° 29.172.
If you have trouble with GPS coverage you can also try
this:-
Walk 13 metres 20 degrees mag from the huge Kauri tree. The cache
is four metres to the right of the track if you are heading
West.
