DO? Enter The Park Traditional Cache

This cache is temporarily unavailable.

bigdog421: Uh oh! It appears there is more progress brewing related to this park. If the curing cement I saw is any indication, I fear a new sign is being installed soon. That would eliminate the current hiding spot and call into question what a replacement hide would look like here. Stay tuned! I will be monitoring the changes at the park. I currently have the cache in my possession.

Geocache Description:

Take a look at the entrance to this neat park.

February 2024 Update: After 16 years of not being able to enter the park, I have had to change the name of this cache. Now that there is a parking lot, I assume there are also trails to explore, so DO enter the park...I think?

This park just sprouted up out of no where this summer. They put a sign up and boom, instant Greene County Park. But you can't go into it. No "Steppassing" is permitted on the premises. Luckily, there is a slim section with many pebbles and ROCKS right off the road by the PARK SIGN that is not really in the park. For this cache though, there is no need to enter...it is most certainly not there. The area is not that big.

Thanks to me taking PZDude's spot for a geocache in a nearby location, I now know why this park once was off limits. It is to protect this wetland from further harm. For info on this creek and it's wetland go to the BW Greenway's Hebble Creek Wetlands page.
