Place: Trout Creek Section of Morris Bridge Wilderness Park
Shelter: River Shelter
Date: February 3, 2008
Time: 11:00am - 2:00pm


Unfortunately, these guys, who we respectfully refer to as "the pundits", will be unable to attend due to some sort of other commitment. However, they will be in our thoughts as we celebrate the upcoming American athletic tradition with food, friends and, of course, some nice new caches to find in one of our favorite caching "venues", the Morris Bridge Wilderness Park!

We will be having a potluck lunch for which we will provide some hot dogs & hamburgers to barbecue as well as buns, ketchup & mustard. However, to make this "Pregame Show" complete, please bring your favorite edible, including salads, beverages, baked goods, chips and whatever else may satisfy a geocacher's hunger. We will also need paper goods, such as plates, utensils, napkins, etc. When you log your "will attend", please let us know what you would like to bring so we can keep track here.

If you are have not had the opportunity to explore the area, there are many fine geocaches hidden in the wilderness park, some of which can be accessed by land and some via the river. So come prepared with hiking paraphernalia, canoes/kayaks, or whatever else "floats your boat", so-to-speak. If you are interested in canoe or kayak rentals, e-mail us and we can point you in the right direction.

And, of course, we are planning to hide a handful of new caches in the area to be published just prior to the event. If you are planning to hide some of your own for the event, and would like to stay with the overall theme of the day, think FOOTBALL and THE GAME.

...and, of course, travel bugs and geocoins are welcome for trading and discovery purposes!

We look forward to seeing one and all, even if the "pundits" can't find time to make an appearance!
