Placed to welcome you to Pendleton, OR and to honor the western way of life. Provides a view of Pendleton with the Blue Mountains in the distance. The Umatilla River river runs through the valley below. Pendleton is home of the world famous Pendleton Round-up and Happy Canyon which takes place the second full week of September each year.
You are looking for a small lock-n-lock style container with logbook, writing instrument and a few trades.
Take I-84 exit #207 at the west end of Pendleton. There is an area to park, off the road, near the signs listing attractions in the area. Along a busy road so if you have dogs or kids, you need to keep them under physical control. Once you cross the road you can walk in the grass area all the way to the cache. Stealth is required.
I am placing this cache in honor of finding 500 this weekend. Time to give back.....
