The SS wairoa foundered on the bar here in 19--? whilst in
transit to Slipper island. There is a monument to this event at
this virtual waypoint, and part of the engine block is all that
remains.
To get to the cache, use S37 00.447 and E175 51.770 Change the
last three digits of South co-ord by adding up the digits in the
year it foundered, and add that sum to 447.
For the East co-ord (last 3 digits) again add up the digits of
the year that it foundered and add that to 770.
