Suggest parking in the lay-by at N51 06.562 W001 45.393. After a couple of hundred yards along the tarmac track, cross small foot-bridge by the ford; from here, choose your route to the co-ordinates - you can come back by a different way. Hidden in winter - may be a bit more overgrown later, but we will keep an eye on this. Might be a bit muddy in rainy season!
Cache is in a clip up plastic container. If you approach from suggested parking area, enjoy the river and look out for kingfishers; various routes will take you to the cache, but when you turn up the hill, look out for large badger setts, particularly on the left of the track. When you have passed the large setts, the cache is some 200 yards further. (A little further up the hill, you will be able to catch glimpses of Salisbury Cathedral Spire and Old Sarum.)
