Park at Balloch Castle and then follow the trail for Whinny Hill,. At the T junction turn right and continue on the gravel path. Left and you will need wellies. Nevertheless walking boots recommended, unless midsummer with no rain for a couple of weeks.
The cache is now a screw-top container with FTF badge, Lego, smiley men, soldiers & WWF keyring. The cache is easily accessible off the path. At the summit on a clear day there are views over the Loch to Ben Lomond. This is a Tom Prentice Walk.
