OK fellow cachers, It's about time for me to hide one. This one represents what I believe geocaching is all about. It is by no means a cache and dash. It will probably take about a 1/2 hr to accomplish. You will need to be dressed properly(business attire not recommended). Boots would be a good thing. Winter will be easier time to tackle this as during the summer and fall the grasses will be taller than you. Lot's of fun though! Most of the year the final walk will be damp and buggy. Now that I've scared off all but the toughest of cachers follow these directions for the easiest access. Park at: N41 52.205, W088 07.061 (or the corner of Lincoln & Western Aves in Wheaton). Proceed north on the Prairie Path just before the bridge. From here you'll need to bushwhack the rest of the way. I know this sounds tough but the rewards are worth it. Not only will you possibly run into beavers, muskrats, blue herons or the owl who lives in the neighborhood. Well Happy and Healthy New Year to All!
