Cache is located about 1.5 miles in the Montgomery Redwood Grove. You will traverse up hills, through small streams and over fallen mammoth Redwoods! You will be looking for Large Ammocan amongst this great Redwood forest.- Good luck
The Cache is located past the Montgomery trail loop about 1/3 mile past the bridge at the loops end. You will come to a downed tree at the end of the grove and a Rock wall. Check out this wall and make your way S.E. about 530 ft towards the cache.
You will come to several small clearings, keep goin till you reach the the 2 old Mossy oaks and it is here where Your quest will end for now.
Upon further research I have found that what once was the worlds tallest tree is located in the main grove!!! It is a closley guarded secret exactly where it is located all that is known is that is not at all the tree you may expect at a mere 10 ft in diameter!!!... maybe next time Ill take you there, although its secret is guarded to protect it, so...Till Next Time~~~CACHE HARD and CACHE ON!!!
