Got cabin fever? Longing to get outside and do some geocaching? Join us for an afternoon of fun, food, and friends.
What: Potluck Lunch.
Where: Woodpecker Lodge at Pinicon Ridge Park near Central City, Iowa.
When: Saturday, February 16th 2008.
Lodge opens at 11:00 AM.
Lunch and door prizes about 12:30 PM.
Lodge closes 4:00 PM.
The Woodpecker Lodge is a heated facility with restrooms, refrigerator, sink, stove, and oven. The hosts will provide stew, paper bowls, plates, napkins, and plastic table service. Please bring a snack, side dish, or dessert, and your beverage.
The sledding hill just outside the lodge is a lot of fun, but it can be fast, so if you bring a sled or toboggan please be careful and sled at your own risk.
There are several caches in the area, and a couple of new ones should be published shortly before the picnic date.
We’re looking forward to seeing old geocaching friends and meeting new ones. Winter in Iowa CAN be fun!
