I placed this cache in celebration of my nephew’s first birthday. At the tender young age of one, he already has many a cache under his belt......uh.....make that, diaper. Perhaps a power cacher in the making? Tagging along with his Mom and Dad, caching has helped him explore his wondrous new world. Hitching a ride on Pop’s shoulders through parks, open spaces, nature trails and the city jungle has given him something new to see at every turn.
Best of all, caching gets him and others of our next generation out amongst Mother Nature and hopefully instills a sense of awe and respect for the environment in which we live, work and play. After all, they will become the next stewards of Spaceship Earth. So grab your little one and take the easy uphill 0.2 mile hike to this cache designed with kids in mind. Cache is about 10 feet away from trail. As always, walk gently when off trail.
I have stuffed this regular cache full of goodies for all the small, micro, and nano cachers amongst us. Please try to keep your trades to items that the little ones will enjoy finding.
