Wooded Mountain Bike Trail
This cache is located on a local mountain bike trail at Miller's Meadow. It is open to hikers and cyclists. The land is private. The owner requests that users leave no trash and respect the area. At times during hunting season there may be hunters, but a sign will be posted at the entrance. Parking is accessed at N 37d 39.007, W 97d 10.424.
The road to parking is unpaved and muddy when it rains. The trails are also dirt and can get muddy. If there are cars there, then watch for cyclists.
If you are a cyclist and want to ride or are a hiker, membership in the Kansas Singletrack Society (www.kssingletrack.com) is requested.
This is the first cache we have posted, so any feedback would be welcome. The cache contains a log book, pencil, and trinkets.
Please ensure the cache is placed in the original location. It was recently found at the base of a tree (not the original location) and poorly hidden. The trail is used by cyclists frequently and this is the quickest way to have a muggle snatch the cache.
