Geocache Description:

This cache is placed by The Scout Master at the pic-nicking area and boat ramp at Halton Ford Recreation Area on Lake Hartwell. This is a WONDERFUL spot for a pic-nic. Very scenic.

You can head to this cache by taking Exit 4 on I-85 in South Carolina. Follow your GPSr down Old Dobbins Bridge Road. Best access is to turn right on Andersonville Road, although you can also continue on down and turn on Dobbins Raod or Halton Ford Road.

The area is not gated, but is closed from 10PM to 6AM except for boat loading and unloading. Park in the parking lot and go to the pic-nic area.

You are looking for a mid-sized pill bottle(about 4" tall). It has been hidden from casual view. It contains a log, BUT NO PEN, so BYOP(Bring Your Own Pen). It is large enough for trade items.

There may be BRIARS, any time during the year. In summer, you may encounter Poison Ivy. The ground may be soft.

HINT: As the title suggests, there is a Twin Trunk tree with a "V" appearance, hint hint.... Please be sure to re-hide securely, as this is a well used area. That is why I include this hint, so you don't have to blindly walk all around possibly attracting muggle attention.

FTF HONORS GO TO....waypointazoid!
