About an ½ or 4 miles on the Seven Hollows Trail depending on how
you go. When you are here take a few minutes to notice the outcrops
of rocks that surround you. Rock is another moving part of nature
that is every changing and is a prominent feature on this trail.
You will step on it, step over it and be thankful for it when
crossing the creeks. It causes some of the little waterfalls and
makes the hollows. I have also found that it can hide caches and
cachers looking for cachers.
The Cache is located on Seven Hollows Trail in beautiful Petit
Jean Park. I have walked this trail a few times and every time I
see something that I didn’t before. It is a good walk for anyone
and a few places to bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the great
outdoors. I have seen folks enjoying the many different scenic
places along the trail. Seven Hollows has something for every time
of the year. The trail is a 4.5 mile loop and closes at dark,
please allow enough time before you start so that you do not get
caught by darkness. The sign says 4 hours and that is about how
long it will take if you enjoy all the beauty on this trail.
Writing a good log will not make you a better cacher, but it
might give you more respect from other cachers.
If you Copy and Paste your logs it
will be deleted. I ask that you to
write a log telling a little about your adventure while hunting
this cache. Due to a recent problem with a cacher not logging my
cache and claiming it as a find, I am requiring this from everyone.
If you think that Copy and Paste Logging is appropriate don’t hunt
my caches. I own these caches and I have the right to delete your
log for any reason. I think writing a good log is
my payment for placing a cache for you to find. Lets both get
smileys and write a little something on your log.
