Beauty is
relative... but there is no doubt that this place will be very
difficult to beat!
The cache is
hidden near the ruins of Cidade Velha. Onces this was the proud
town of Santiago. When Drake arrived in 1585 with his 1,000 men
strong force he found the city deserted... but today you can
come on your own and you will be warmly welcomed by the
villagers.
You need a
walk towards the ruins of about 2 km to find the stash. Do not
forget the bring the spoiler photo with you. Look for a plastic
bottle in a pink plastic bag, hidden in a hole in the rocks, behind
a stone.
Back in the
village you can have a delicious meal with a magnificent view over
the ocean on one side and the impossant Fort up on the montain on
the other site. Take your time and order the red wine from the
island of Fogo!
Do not forget to
bring some nuts with you for the little monkey, it drives her
really crazy!
She is not
only cute, but also very smart. Be careful, she bites when you make
her angry...
