This puzzle cache will bring you to the 4 Compass Points, and the high and low elevations of New Hampshire!
To log a find on this cache you must log the following:
The High Point of NH - This will be one of the 3 caches at or near the summit of Mount Washington. During the winter when the Auto Road or Cog Railway is closed, Caches at Pinkham Notch will count. If you plan on logging the cache while the road or rail is open you will need to log one of the three Mount Washington caches. Re-visits will be fine, however re-finds will depend on the cache owners.
The Low Point of NH - Any cache within 0.5 miles of the ocean and less than 100 feet of elevation.
The North Point of NH - For this purpose I will accept any cache on page 53 of the New Hampshire Delorme!
The South Point of NH - For this purpose I will accept any cache within 1 mile of the Massachustes border.
The East Point of NH - For this purpose I will accept any cache within Carrol or Coos Counties within 1 mile of the Maine border. (I know Portsmouth is further east, but I wanted to spread things out a bit since Portsmouth would count for the low point of NH)
The West Point of NH - For this purpose I will accept any cache within Cheshire and Sullivan Counties that are within 1 mile of the Vermont border.
Since many of you still need to head to these places for MAMD's 9 Degrees of NH and the NH Delorme Challenge you might as complete two or three caches with one trip!
The final for this cache is located in Ashland, NH which is fitting as it is the geographic center of NH!
There will be FTF prizes for the first three finders. I will let you choose which you want and arrange a later delivery.
Finds from today forward will be the only ones that count. Sorry if you have already made that long trip north and completed the other caches of this nature.
